Kia ora, hello!
I am pleased to share this Raffle fundraiser on behalf of my lovely friend Jess (@cnyttancnottan).
As the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians continues unabated, and leaders of the Western imperial block still do nothing to prevent this orchestrated catastrophe, it can leave us feeling powerless to help. However, humanity is still with us and there are kind souls like Jess and Elle, who I will hand this post over to now…
Thanks for your support, Charlotte
The Raffle

Jess: Thank you to Charlotte for the lend of her blog!
My mate Elle (@elle.is.beyond.tired) and I (Jess – @cnyttan.cnottan) have been in touch with some families in Palestine over the last year or so. I think it goes without saying that they’ve been having a beyond horrific time. We want to give them a helping hand, and show them that we all care about them. So we’ve put our crafty skills to good use for this raffle.
The Prizes

Elle is skilled in needlework and has made this beautiful tartreez, a traditional form of Palestinian embroidery. It’s in the Najma Ma Reesh (feather star) pattern from Hebron. This prize is open worldwide.

Elle’s mother-in-law Sue has contributed this cute crochet turtle! It even comes with it’s own egg! This prize is open to those in Aotearoa (New Zealand) and Australia.

And I’ve (Jess) made two colourwork hats.
The white yarn in the white and purple hat is a husky merino blend! And very soft.
The brown, botanical hat is made with my handspun yarn. Charlotte prepared the batts for me – they are from her Coffee Collection; in the Espresso and Macchiato colourways. The Haunui was a delight to spin with, being both long stapled and soft.
I hope that the winner will enjoy wearing them just as much. This prize is open worldwide!
